Jeff, thanks for your comment! I agree with you - and the people I'm referring to in this story have made their beliefs clear: If a person identifies as LGBTQ, they are in sin and therefore going to hell, regardless of their belief in Jesus.

The blurry line between "continued, unrepentent sinful lifestyles," and "oops, I did it again" is difficult to nail down theologically or biblically, which make the subjective rejection of LGBTQ identifying people a bit easier.

I've got two chapters in my book on the Gospel for this reason; it's really important to me and the people I'm trying to reach!
